Few years back, someone told me you can pickup chicks at Myspace. Even the guys on rugby field seconded. Well, the above screen capture surely eliminates the possibility of being untrue.
At 15? You’ve got to be kidding me girl!
There’s perfectly nothing wrong with making new friends on the Internet, I myself have a few crush (among my readers, I will NOT name them). But I believe there needs to be a common understanding before eloping one another.
At 15, all I cared was how to beat Rustam, my 100m nemesis and scoring 8A’s in PMR. Girls and exploring sexuality was beyond my comprehension. Mind you, I’m not g4y.
It tickers me, should there be a higher supervision of teen’s Internet activity? An algorithm that can block the limitless Internet? An alternative to placing your home computer in the living room?
As an elder brother who’s tech savvy, I monitor the traffic in and out of the house. So if anyone starts getting kinky or leeching torrent files like mad, I’ll disconnect them from the Wifi. And when they ask what happened to the net, I’ll shift the blame to TMNet.
There’s more to Internet than Facebook, MySpace and Friendster. Start watching ‘you suck at photoshop‘ or pickup the blogging hobby, anything, as long as it doesn’t breach your parent’s trust.
ps: Starting to laze around these days. I probably need a good kick in the ass to get up and move about.
