For me,
I love to stay in UK, Sheffield (relax and easy)
And,
Love to shopping at Tokyo, especially at Akihabara…

I’ve never been to the land of Arabs. I don’t know.

malaysian is still better.u cant expect all people is good. if then, this country will be extremely peaceful.

try to go to arabic countries. yeah, arabic..don’t waste ur money to go to america, UK &etc..but try to go there & do blog abt their manners eh?

I think it’s because a typical Malaysian likes to revel in feeling superior. Like having an attitude that basically can be described as an ‘oh I’m better than you therefore I have the right to humiliate you’ mentality. Which makes no sense, but there you go.

There is no empathy, only uncaring sympathy for the misfortunate.

I fell here on a run the other day. Tripped and went splat on the pavement, twisted my ankle. The entire thing happened right in front of this old russian dude and he just pretended he didn’t even see a thing.

At least as cold and rude and impolite as the russians are you can’t hate them for having no emotion to begin with. I thought we Malaysians were more civilised than that.

At least you weren’t behaving like a typical Malaysian. It’s always nice to know there are people who actually give a damn

once, i slipped, in the mall. like, bedebuk! hahaha. and the guys who were working at the restaurants laughed, and some muttered something like, “eh, be careful” but no one offered a hand. it’s not like I had a lot of things dropped anyway. but a hand is always a good sign of care. my boyfriend (now an ex) was waaay infront of me. we were sort of running, I was chasing him. (HAHA!) he saw me falling and was half shocked. he came to me but I got up before he offered his hand (if he were going to) and then the chasing stopped. haha.

now, why the hell am I rambling in a piece of comment?

You are right. in Malaysia, no one would offer a help to anyone who slipped or whatsoever. Also, it’s so rare to see someone would actually hold the door for you. There are, of course some gentlemen who would hold the door for me (and others) but they are very rare to find. also, I would get pretty disappointed it when people don’t smile back at me. I’m very generous when it comes to smiling. at least, it will help brighten someone’s day.

I’m very proud of what you did. aww…Eddie.
