hmmm…if the dialogue was long enough that the listener has to digest every word and remark, then it needs the repeat, to assure that we understand the point given. but if the dialogue contains more or less three words then it’s annoying. that’s why i avoid myself asking lame question such as, ye ke? when obviously the sentence given is a statement.
e.g :
boy : eh, hari jumaat ni aku cuti
girl : ye ke?

dumb. dumb. i hope u understand what i’m trying to share. hehe

btw, there’s an officer here loves to repeat his statement. it’s his remark. i can’t say it can be changed.
e.g :
me : En. Man (bukan nama sebenar), balik kul berapa?
en. Man : lima setengah, lima setengah.

sometimes i just ask questions, kenakan dia. yeah, nakal me.
