Our house is currently being renovated.
Everyday, 8 am sharp, I’ll start to hear drilling and knocking sounds. No human could possibly endure this even if they haven’t slept for 2 days.
My dad decided to add 2 more rooms and extent a room. Slight changes on the front porch, adding 5 thick beams, which according to him symbolizes 5 pillars of Islam ( like Tabung Haji’s building).
I looked at the plan and immediately decided to change to the extended room. It has a room in a room. I intend to make that special room as my working area and mount a few monitors on the wall. Presently looking at 3 x 24″ display workstation, as well as an isolated music area.
Let’s just hope dad agrees to this.
The renovation is set to complete before Eid, just in time for my younger brother’s wedding. I can’t wait to see the end product.
