How To Remove FeedJit, Advertlet and MyBlogLog Footer

I never meant to share this but here goes ¹. Why do I want to remove this? Because they don’t fit in my current theme and because they look ugly. I do this by customizing the CSS. You can change your CSS in your theme folder, called ’style.css’.

Anymore Suggestion For Plant-a-Tree Theme?

Like I said in my previous post, I want to make this theme available to public. Many thanks to the suggestion I received. Here’s some feedbacks:

Norlinie from the Mindful Trinkets - She asked whether I could change the blue link to green.

Ninie, I’ve tried. It looked like Christmas Carol’s site

Bengbeng from Mylongkang- Header area looks too simple and he wanted the ‘recommended links’ back.

Noted. I like the links too. I’ll put it back soon

Aisyah from AisyahRozi - told me to use twitter, instead of ‘easy announcement’ for micro-blogging.

I told you yesterday, they don’t provide custom feed. Well, I was wrong, they do have it! and I’m loving twitter!

I requested 5 banners for the theme, but I got 9 back. I still only need 5, but to turn down the other 4 would make me a mean person. So I use Rotatee, a banner management site to rotate between these 9 banners. Give it a try

Congrats on polishing your Photoshop skills. It’s good to have some ‘culture’ on my wall and not just my typical & generic design.

My personal favorite is AyUmi’s. Simple and clean, (I don’t understand the background though). MK the computer enthusiast (or shall I say geek), made his and told me that I could remove it if I think it’s ugly. Bro, nothing’s ugly-lah, ugly is just a state of mind.

So guys, anymore suggestion(s)?

New Theme - Rejected

After fondling with the new theme (ground up design), I decided to reject the whole idea. It was too troublesome and time is not the luxury I have. I re-do the old theme (current) core and found some conflicting errors. These were cause by Scriptaculous, a Javascript library.

In simple English, the older your PC, the slower it is to load.

So yes, I’ll go with the old one

New Theme - Just Not Ready

I’ve got a few complains before this about the slow loading of NoktahHitam. At most for me, was 2-3 sec loading time

I’ve checked with W3C.org, everything is ok. Now I’m back to square one

I don’t really have much time to fondle and give NoktahHitam a good massage, so I will be doing this by stage. If there’s anything wrong, let me know

ps: very tired after dancing my whole heart out~ erghh..

pss: Any improvement in loading? please, Please, PLEASE let me know

Ported this over to WordPress, the whole process took me 5 hours. I really got nothing to do. 25 26 all of them.

The hardest part is to remember it!
