It’s quite shocking to see the price of real estate nowadays. Some ‘elite’ places around KL costs 7 figures! When I check with the developer, their target is for foreigners who earns multiple times yet produces so little. Why are we selling houses to foreigners? Is this the inevitable 2nd-time colonization by the east?

Look at the price (though a bit old), but hey, that’s almost RM500k per house in KL. Would anyone with a household income of 4-5k per month be able to buy these houses? I guess not. Normally, you’d have to fork out 10% deposit, a pretty huge amount of money.

We might find the urge to buy now, or many later in years to come. But by 2030, I doubt our kids can afford anything. Poor babies, living in very stressful life.

My dad told me, his first pay as an engineer back in the 80′s was RM800. Now our engineering fresh grad can fetch up to RM 2,000. The price for a house then was, RM 50k-100k around Bangsar. Today, if you don’t have RM 1 million, don’t even think about owning a high rise around the same area. So simple math, salary increase 3 folds, but property, 10 folds.

What saddens me most is how our developers maximizes their profit by building vertically, 10 – 20 stories high! Imagine every tenant wants to go out to work at rush hour, the traffic starts at the car park. A good idea would be, buy a condo at RM 500k and get a kapcai. Anyway, who am I to question inconsiderate house developers? They’re not in the business of building HOME, they’re building houses for ang mo.

I guess it’s eminent, we (locals) stay outside the ring, while foreigners stay inside.

You know UMNO had an assembly at PWTC last week, so in one of their speech was wanting CEO’s seat of GLC. He said this will help boost the Malays economy!

What a lot of bulls!

First, how do you think by giving to UMNO it will boost Malay economy? They’ll probably give money to their cronies and practice of cronyism is really bad for any developing nation. This is bullshit.

Second, qualifications. Do you think law graduates (most politicians are lawyers) can do sales, manage people, understand business needs etc? Not that they can’t, but probably wouldn’t be as efficient. There are many pre-requisite qualities needed to become CEOs, even the present ones are having problems. MAS is having problem, TNB making further loss, Proton is still stuck on their windscreen. It’s about know how, not know who.

Normally, I’d clock in at 10am, depending on how busy I am. Ten in the morning is a good average so we’ll stick to that. Most of the time, I’d either leave early or hang outside of the building, like Old Town or some place with Free Wifi.

I hate going to the office. They blocked all these social websites, Facebook, Youtube  and Twitter (the main ones). The Internet is super slow, average downloading speed is about 10kbps, and we’re amongst the biggest IT company in Malaysia. Since I’m on the Sales floor, it makes the environment even worst as most of them have meetings outside. Only a handful of Sales people are in.

Today, I was awaken by my dear wife, she told me the power is out and she had to work outside to finish her AutoCAD design.

As we were about to leave the house and had gotten things in car, we realized, we had an automatic gate and the backup battery went kaput years ago. We had to wait for hours and it certainly doesn’t help as the heat builds up internally.

I left the house around 2.30 pm after battling with iOS 5 upgrade. Seriously, Apple is one hell of a schemer or in my own words, a marketing prick. They promised all this user-friendliness in the end, they made a whole lot of mess. I guess I wasn’t strong enough to deter far from Apple’s stuff. And Apple isn’t the story I want to get into, at least in this post.

These past few weeks and until year end, I’ll be focusing a lot on next year’s strategy and catching up the latest Telco trends. Personally, it doesn’t really matter what time you clock in or out, as long as you deliver what you promised, that’s good enough. If achieved 12-folds from last year’s result, I doubt anyone has the audacity to tell you what to do.

I guess I’m better off as an Entrepreneur.

Sharizat, a Menteri in the Malaysian Cabinet actually got her family appointed in a national project worth over RM 250 million. How bloody lunatic is that?

I don’t mean to sound envious, in fact far from it. Isn’t the government supposed to be looking at national welfare? Why are the Menteri’s helping themselves. I know for a fact that she needs to feed her family too, but with RM 250 million worth of investment? That’s rather selfish for just a family while it can feed hundreds more. I wonder how big is their appetite.

What’s the big deal? Well for starters, she said that we shouldn’t be throwing accusations at her family but why the hell were they appointed in the first place? Given the project to lower income, I have high hopes that it’ll bring in more money that what they are earning now.

What ever it is, this fucking bullshit. I’m surprise we can put up with this. Morons like this should be slaughtered in court for abuse of power.

What kind of law is this? This is sexist! Are you implying that women now are incapable of being a board member and therefore needs quota in order to be in the board? Sheesshhh, some times I wonder, despite having high IQ (or low), they seriously lack EQ.

This is like playing UNO with half of the crowd being female, and must at least let them win 30% of the time. Kinda dumb ass don’t you think? It’s the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest. Who ever trumps the card win! Isn’t that simple?

May I also inquire, what law states that women can’t be board members? The deeper I think about this, the stupid-er I think I am. Or maybe I’m just that stupid.

Personally, this is not a matter of equality because jobs are offered to both sexes equally. However there are in some cases where a gender is preferable, e.g. manual labor, because girls can’t carry heavy stuff effectively or breast pump sales promoter, because guys have no idea what to do with breast other than fondling it.

So in the case of a board member where decisions are critical, neither sex are qualified if they don’t have;

1. a good education (though not necessary)
2. a sublime business acumen
3. an exceptional communicator
4. battle scars from experience

Then comes the debate of who is the better manager, man or woman? I’ll probably write about that if I have the time. But for now, share your thoughts on this okay?

The minister like to compare us with our neighboring partner, of course we’re cheaper BECAUSE WE FUCKING HAVE OIL IN OUR TERRITORY! If you want to compare that too, why not the tax implied on imported cars? Our neighbors don’t have it. Yet we’re succumbed to buying el-cheapo Proton and Perodua that turtles and can’t roll down windows after 3 months installment.

Seriously, I can’t emphasize this any further, we are protecting 30,000 jobs over 20 million people? Seriously? Dungu sial. Proton has been shielded for 25 years. I don’t see other companies get treated the same way.

As for the subsidy for IPP, it’s said that RM 29 billion was paid out to generate cheaper power for us. How about this, take out all the subsidy, let businesses pay a premium rate than citizens. This will force employers to be more GREEN and learn to cut cost.

What really doesn’t make sense is, who are we paying the subsidies to? Petronas for mining oil? No, they are like bangla collecting durians. The petrol station? No, bangla delivers durian to them, they act like tokey. So who do we pay? Appreciate if someone knowledgeable to enlighten me.

Apparently KIMMA, Kongres India Muslim Malaysia came out with a bold statement, claiming that PKR offered monies well over RM 50 million to get support from the congress. To add further fuel to fire, they instated their loyalty belongs to BN. Picked up from TukarTiub.

As a result of this crooked/bent statement, a campaign was born. Yes, you are right. “Boycott Mamak joints”, especially Syed and Khulafa.

1. Seriously? RM 50 million to buy votes? PKR might as well spend on better political gains like create a new TV/Radio station. Where is the logic of that?

2. Somehow it doesn’t click, KIMMA came out with slander, thus boycott their joints?

3. Mamak joints isn’t actually clean, though rated A. The service is sometimes poor, especially if newly imports waiters who barely speaks Malay and they have stinky body odor.

4. Mamak joints is very profitable. Thanks to low wager and margin 700% on drinks.

5. Their workers indirectly contribute to our Ringgit flowing out of our country by sending back to their home town. Imagine 70,000 work force sends back RM 400 a month. That’s RM 28 million and you wonder why RM isn’t strong against other currencies.

To boycott or not to, it’s in your hand. I am not implying anything.

Personally, I do wonder why a teh o kosong (that’s tea without sugar) costs RM 1.50. It’s just boil water (or is it?) with recycled tea bag. All this while, I do disagree with the pricing and cleanliness of Mamak and yet, I choose to loiter there to watch football or gathering of friends.

Today was so bad, I literally have to blog about it.

I was doing 120 kmh on Duke. Yes that’s pretty fast but not really the fastest in the crowd, conti’s and wannabe’s drives faster. Anyway, while cruising on the far right lane, suddenly a bugger decided to change lane from middle to right at 70 kmh, he was trying to overtake a lorry. I slammed my brake as hard as I could. Smokes came flying out my wheels, a result of intense braking friction.

Knowing that I can’t avoid the collision if I continue braking, I immediately switched to the most left lane. Phewww, lucky nothing happened and nothing was on the left most lane. It doesn’t matter if the noob driver gave a signal to switch lane, signalling does not entitled him to do so. He should have known better as I was clocking faster than him.

I slowly crept side-by-side to the driver, lift a finger and continued with my pursuit.

Down the highway, another snobbish fella doing 80 kmh on the right lane when there’s no car on the middle and left lane. As I overtook the car, I saw the driver was on the phone. Bugger, use handsfree also cannot drive properly. This one pon kena finger jugak.

The last before I reached my destination another dumb fuck stupid fella on the road. This time it’s a motorist, doing 80 kmh the right lane. This one earned a honk and a finger. It did occurred, what if I someone ram him from behind?

Where on this planet can you find the most stupid driver in the world? Malaysia and you can’t argue with me.

Seriously, if you think you want to chill, or stick to the motto ‘better late than sorry’, keep on the left lane. People like you will cause traffic chaos and frustrations on top of earning a middle finger. I do not have any problem with slow drivers, I am too most of the time to conserve fuel. Just don’t block faster vehicles on the right lane.

I think I should come up with a bumper sticker saying;

I was Googling for an image of hills in Malaysia to incorporate into my slides, until I saw this peculiar image. Seriously, what is this?

I know that we don’t have corn field crops, but instead on paddy field? Damn this is confusing, worst than some illuminati stuff that I’ve been obsessing about for years. I also came across something similar on Youtube.

This is wicked!

Clock spring is an instrument that sits behind your steering wheel. It enables you to connect to the cars electronic system, like volume control, horn, even your airbag. As seen above, the ribbon turned in a bird’s nest, I suspect due to low quality as a result of cost cutting strategy. Bullshit!

Last year Proton made a recall for a whole bunch of batches, somehow they did not mentioned my model. So I kind assumed everything was ok until shit happens. It started making rattling sound, the airbag indicator went up and the horn kept yelling begging to be saved. Luckily the air bag did not burst while I was driving (it happened before). I can’t believe that I’m paying for a design failure. What disgusted me most was how Proton recalled selectively rather than the whole batch. It turns out, I’m not alone. My best bud had the same problem.

The clock spring costs me RM 391 (RM 360 for the item, another RM30 for workmanship).

My experience got even worst when I dealt with Proton Edar. When I arrived, I asked to change the clock spring. “Encik kene tunggu kite orang call. Sekarang ade 16 dalam queue,” pure wtf. I told the lady, I’ll pay for it. “Kalau macam tu, oklah, kite buat sekarang“, adding more WTF-ness.

I sent my car at noon and got it back at 5.30 pm. I wasted half day loitering in their waiting area. The service was too slow, even rabbits could mate and give birth within the period.

Just to fill my curiosity, I went to a workshop nearby and asked how much if I were to replace the clock spring. Guess what? RM 290 for the same original part! That’s RM 100 cheaper! Seriously, what bullshit is this? If you have the money, don’t EVER buy a Malaysian made car. They are rubbish! The only reason we had to buy is because shitty TDM imposed 200% tax on imported car.

Thanks TDM, for making my life  and possibly our lives even shittier.

ps: Don’t buy a Proton, if you want extend your life expectancy.

Let me tell you something, they are an idiot. They do not understand the suffering of low-middle class people. They say they listen, but like the Malay saying, masuk telinga kanan, keluar telinga kiri. Morons.

The incentives they tabled are rubbish. Most of them spins around, ‘they rich save their millions, the poor tighten the tummy’.

What about the famous saying when prices go up? “Ubah cara hidup?” It seems to me, the only way to live is to die.

Needless to say, they should not be giving ideas to challenge the government. They’re like hinting us, don’t riot etc. Who the fuck wants a riot? We have bills to pay! So shut your smelly mouth and don’t say a word.
