While the people in Malaysia are still battling with the hike in petrol price, Proton introduces they newly join venture with Detroit motors. Proton’s Electric car.

Stupid Bad move. Here’s why.
You need to charge the car. What happens if your car ran out of battery in traffic jam? Conventionally, you can always walk to the nearest station. Battery? Get AA size ones? Push? I’d recommend you call a towing company. That’s RM200 down the drain
Sky high electricity bill. You may think it’ll reduce your petrol expenditure but you’re wrong. The petrol expenditure will go directly to your electricity bill. Leverage, justify, call it what ever you want, you gain too little to notice
Black outs. Let’s face it, monopoly is bad idea of improving any service. We all had our blackouts every now and then. So tell me, where can you seek refuge during the darkest day when your car is dead?
Going greener? Nope. Electricity comes from burning gas and charcoal. We have yet to own a nuclear plant although MINT was established long ago
Old housing wiring. Most modern home are equipped with a 3 phase power supply, sadly not rural ones. Naturally, electric cars will need these facility to recharge the battery. Yeah, you can strike out balik kampung with this car
High density residential. If you live in a condo, apartment or any high rise, it’ll be (almost) impossible to recharge your car from your house. They’ll be a special parking bay and I bet your management will shave every extra penny you make
Having said all of the above, wouldn’t it be smarter to work on hybrid or hydrogen car? The choice is yours
ps: My arguement today is from consumer’s point of view.

What’s wrong with kids today? Can’t they learn to respect the mosque?Every year, I’d face the same agony, kids cracking fireworks while performing terawih. It’s very hard to concentrate. 2 things crosses my mind throughout my prayer;
- Will a car explode? (since they’re playing in the parking area)
- Will it hit my car?
Darn.
Fortunately today I brought my phone. I rang the local police and asked them a small favor, to patrol our mosque. The police never came. I’m sure they’re waiting for enough complains before they can take further actions. At least I did my part.
During my younger year, Terawih means No-Study Night. We’d pretend to be pious but sneaked out after the first prayer for some extreme handmade fireworks. But at least we have the decency to respect those performing prayer.
So, let me post this question again, what’s wrong with kids today or rather, anak sapa ni?

Why, thank you.
After 4 hours of reading my previous postings, I’ve come to realised, I derailed from my main objectives. I am supposed to be cynical, unlikable and wicked. I’m gonna hate myself for this.
A dear friend of mine shared a serious conversation.
Friend N: You know what’s your problem?
NoktahHitam: No. Lay it out.
Friend N: You’re a nice guy pretending to be dark and wicked.
NoktahHitam: What made you say that?
Friend N: Come on dude, I’ve known you more than 12 years.
NoktahHitam: Shut up.
I guess the wicked side of me mellowed or I grew wiser. Either way, I really wish I’d have that impulsive writing back. Knocking on my keyboard relentlessly, deleting half of it and publish it without fear.
Time has changed. I’m an adult now

Since this post governs Islamic beliefs, I shall address it in Malay.

(more…)

I’ve always wanted to make my own version of Ramadhan cards, as in printed ones. Out of boredom and panic anxiety, I made these.

I’ll sent this to my female girl friends.

I’ll send this to unproductive Muslims, Ramadhan is no excuse to skip work. And feeling too ‘under the weather’.

This one to my powerPUFF friends. Who’d take a deep breath every now and then.

My MCKK buddies. They’ll know what mosque is that.

and to my family, in laws & in law-to-be.
I’ll tell you more about my Ramadhan adventure. Right now, I need my pillow more than I need my ex.
ps: Oh yeah, If you must steal the images above, let me know
pss: I spent 4 hours doing this thing.. it’s 5 am already!
psss: That is not my smoking hand
