Why Men Lose Hair

The other day I was out with a female friend and so our journey to the shopping mall begins from her house.(Yeah, I do taxi service as well, other than developing websites)

NoktahHitam: Where are we heading? Which mall?
Girl: Anywhere also the same.
NoktahHitam: Ok. Let’s go to “Place Y”. I need a new pair of jeans.
Girl: Last time we went there already. Nothing much there.
NoktahHitam: Any suggestion(s)?
Girl: Anything would do. Up to you la

UM Pharmacy Night, Congrats Baizura

No, she’s not my girlfriend. She’s my cousin. Again no, she’s not available. Yeah, she won the ‘Miss Congeniality’.

Last weekend, I find myself in the midst of prom UM’s pharmacy prom night. It was rather unusual for me to attend such function (I don’t really like the idea of dressing up). I sat with my whole family, including cousins and aunt. My uncle was supposed to give a speech, but something came up, he had to attend to his priority. He was replaced by his assistant. (more…)

Let’s Help Web Communities!

Few years ago (long before I became a web developer), I was so frustrated with the Malaysian Web. It was ugly, hideous and non-informative. It’s still ugly, hideous and non-informative.

Let’s look at a Major Player. When was this web updated?

I expect for them to be better. As the leader and only company on Forbes 500 from Malaysia, slow, delayed and ill-informed, is this the kind of image they way to portray?

Anyway, over the weekend, I was pretty bored. So I emailed a few bloggers to help them with their design (I know these bloggers use plug and play templates). Nothing wrong using a template, it just need some minor customization.

Out of all the emails I sent, 1 replied. She is a sweet girl and the author of Merdurian, called Vickie. She agreed to let me design an icon for her. I did a durian with some animation. Hope she likes it. (Took me 2 hours, told you I got nothing to do).

Anyway, for those who need help their icon, drop a comment or email me. But do me a favor, be sure you know how to change them. There’s a lot of information on that so read on.

PS: Vickie, a ‘venti latte’ would be fine (for the designing fees!) LoL.

Happy Birthday the Banker

I’m exaggerating here. but I’m not kidding about the first 3.

This dude was my deskmate in form 4 and later in form 5 (English class, Set A). We argued every single day. The two most agonizing topics were physics and add maths. We also find ways to bring each other down (talk about being Malays!). But out of that rivalry, we found true friendship and made irreplaceable memories together.
