It’s been long since I got personal other than screaming ‘I want to marry a doctor’! So here’s something for a change.
By ‘stalk’, I meant reading each and every post & comments, line by line, word by word. And if I don’t understand something they wrote, I’d google it for the sake of curiosity. 1
The following are judgments based on my wicked mind. I’m brutally honest, so buckle up. Special note, this list is not in order.
1. Bongkerzs – Flaccid Mind = Weak Mind, Use Steroid
I have no frigging idea what is flaccid but his writing takes away my footings. When reading his blog, I feel like I’m some part of an underground movement, unraveling the mysteries laid underneath current affairs. It may not be all-that-classy-design, but content is king!
2. SembangKomputer – Learn A Thing or Two
SK was there since NH started looming. I have no idea how he found me, but I’m glad I found him. Again, the design doesn’t swipe you off your feet but it works, and that’s important. Unlike other tech blogs, SK is ads free. Bro, want to start SembangWeb?
3. The Banker – Don’t Bank On it, Yeah, Banking is Haram (riba)
The banker was my deskmate and a book-a-holic. Simplistic and minimalist design, drains your thoughts to his writings. While his writing is flowery and novelist, he fails to connect the missing dot. What dot? I have no idea too. Go there to figure out.
4. AyUmi Luck – One Hand in My Pocket, The Other in Your Nose
I have no idea why I hang around at her blog. I’m certainly not doing her any favor because she hangs around here a lot. Oh yeah, while most blogs I read are about ramblings & rants, hers is the complete opposite. It’s all about ‘shiny sunrise that gently touches your face…’ (but sometimes she swings a bat or two at your face).
5. Melbie – Vague Reveries, what does that even mean?
Melbie urm, urm, urm. Well she listens to my rants a lot over YM. Obviously I’m obligated to listen to hers. A fellow Germany and Chelsea comrades. Melbie is about her thoughts and life experience. I’d really love to know what’s going on in KK since I drew a line and forbid myself from stepping there.
6. Mindful Trinkets – A Spasm of Hope?
I like her writings, full stop. Ok, that’s too short. If you’re normal and I’m wicked, she’s.. I have no vocab for that. Often her writings contradicts my way of thinking, something like an elder sister to beat the crap poke and run back to my bat cave.
When I started NH, I wanted to carry that emo bit with me until I came across Cibol from Nono. God, He is ultimately EMO, I had to drop the whole idea. While I say he’s emo, I personally think, he’s just trying hard to patch up here and there. Bro, it shows in your writing no matter what you write about. *pat* Pat*
8. Nurnana – The Loud Mouthed Accountant, Mother of Gossip
You are free to imagine her wearing tonnes golden bracelets. Once in a while, lifting her hands, so that her sleeve would roll down and revealed her blings. That’s what I thought. Her jokes are funny and cynical at the same time. I can always relate her stories to mine. She’s talkative, well, all accountants are.
9. KNizam – Offbeat Is Important
Undoubtedly a geek in his own way. But someone said geeks are sexy. KNizam is all about sempoi-ness. His post are inclined to food and travel. He’s always on the move, I always wonder what’s his daily job and the amount of calories he holds.
10. AisyahRozi – Shopaholic or Relentless, Make Up Your MIND!
(No I’m not saving the last for the best, she’s not food). The highly talented Aisyah but I don’t really like her drawings (except her paintings). She’s liberated, funny, witty, talkative, tree hugging, open and cute? I don’t know, I’m just making those up. AisyahRozi is a life experience blog, rarely about her rants.
I know I promised 20. But I think it’s way too much for someone of my caliber, currently sick and caught a flu. Thanks to AyUmi, you infected me!
ps: I’ve met Cibolution & Bongkersz and watched the opening of Euro. Happening people, at least in tune and same wave length.
